UCalgary CIDE members rallied together to hold a 3-day plant sale to support student scholarships. Giselle Lin, a member of CIDE, proposed the idea and collaborated with the Biology Graduate Students' Association (BGSA) to secure plants for the first day. After selling out each day, Leonie O'Sullivan (Chair) and Anna Niedzwiecka (Advisor) rushed to source extra plants across Calgary. Thank you to all members for their efforts in orchestrating a triumphant fundraiser, generating over $1600 earmarked for chemistry student scholarships.
